Are you serious? This has to be a 0.5 thing.

Yeah, seriously...

I uncorped my cIOSCORP in order to get the hackmii installer working, installed BootMii, DVDX and HBC, then installed cIOSCORP.

Started HBC, normal. Exited to menu.

Restarted HBC- upside down...

Now in order to solve this, I DOP IOS´d IOS 30 and reinstalled HBC, now its working normal... OMFG

Incredibly stupid question, I know, but I've read so many posts and readmes that I'm just confused:

I'm on 4.1 and have a previous version of HBC, originally installed using TwilightHack. If I want to go to 4.2, all I have to do is use the HBC auto-update to get the new HBC and then update the Wii system and everything will be fine, correct? I won't need to download the new Hackmii installer, right?

I just succesfly reinstalled everthing hbc, dvdx, and bootmii on a 4.2 wii using super stack and hackmii installer 1.5 i am rly happy that team twizzers made a fix this fast and i am back to my hacked up wii

I see. Is this common?
I was under the impression that it wasn't.

It seems to be when cIOSCORP is installed, this happens... but when DOP IOSing IOS 30 for hackmii installer after cIOSCORP installation all is normal as it should be.

Oh, ok. Thanks for the clarification.

so i updated to the new versions of hbc and dvdx.

seems like everytime i change a option in the hbc, i only have two apps remaining in my list?
anybondy similar problems?

and, i read the releasenotes on hackmii, so if i got it right, all Media apps like MPlayer and geexbox wont work anymore unless recompiled with the new dvdx title id?

Any app that uses DVDX won't work until it's recompiled.
MPlayer CE worked fine for me. Tried a couple of DVDs and they played perfect. Hmmmm...
And you know why? They "integrated" DVDX into their IOS202. So you don't need DVDX for MPlayer-CE anymore, only their cIOS. They said that many times...

Btw: New ID for DVDX is DISC...how clever

J0DI

Am I the only one that doesn't understand the significance of the "J0DI" TitleID?
Will someone explain it to me, please?

I'm only guessing, but it probably has something to do with Jodi Wykle. Google it.
Jody Wykle is a Florida woman who bought a Nintendo DS from a local Wal-Mart. When she brought the device home as a birthday gift to her 16-year-old son, they discovered the box contained only rocks and Chinese newspaper

lol.

If they based it on her, I think they wanna say Nintendo fails/they hate Nintendo's way of working on stuff. (Like they way of updating the Boot2 so dangerous.)

I am using FW 4.1U, I have HBC installed, as well as DVDx. I cannot get it to play dvds however. I am new to the Wii brew scene, I was hoping someone can point me in the correct direction.
