Hacking Hack wii U 5.5.1

I have a new wii U on 5.5.1.
I disconnected web because I don't want the update 5.5.2.
I want to connect to my Nintendo account and to download a VC game to put Haxchi.
I didn't connected it before because I can't it was linked to another console.
Now, how can I download the VCgame and hack the console with Haxchi and CBHC, without connecting it to the internet or to connect but without downloading the update ?

You can block updates with the update-blocking DNS servers, and you can connect to the eShop using NNU Patcher.

You can also block updates by deleting a specific folder on your NAND.

Ok so I block DNS, use NNU to access eshop, and connect to Nintendo Network ID, and install my VC game ? Then Haxchi

That should all be correct, yes. If you're extra paranoid like me, you can also delete the updates folder on your NAND so the Wii U is unable to download system updates.

I don't know where is that folder if you can tell me where is he ?
And if the 5.5.2 become safe and the version to have, will I be able to update if I delete the folder ?

You can follow this guide to delete the folder and block updates. If you want to update in the future, you can always re-add the folder.

Seems NNU is only for 5.3.2 and I'm on 5.5.1.
Will it work ?

NNU Patcher is to be used on 5.5.1 so you can access the eShop without being on 5.5.2. It will work. It's what everyone is using.

I have another problem. I moved in a new house. So I have no wifi working on my wii u. I need to add a new one. I fear if when I add, before I remove DNS, the console search for the update ?

Hello, well i can suggest to do this:

1-You add your wifi router (ssid name) with a bad wifi key, then you disable the dns, you put those in the noob guide there :

2-You correct your wifi key (Your DNS are now blocked in manual) - You'll have access to internet browser exploit
3-You then follow this guide to delete the folder update with the browser exploit (You can let the dns blocked)

4-Then you follow again the point 1 for the install of Haxchi.


I've just done all of that before...and as i was fear to be updated in 5.5.2 so i do all of this with a maximum of security...and finally it work like a charm!

Or you can just disconnect the internet from your router while you setup the WiiU's wifi settings. Might prove unpopular with anyone else in the house while you do it though.

Hello guys !
On my Wii U, I removed internet on the sysnand, and didn't removed it on the rednand.
The rednand have downloaded the update, and try to install it everytime, but fail.
The problem is, when I want to launch Breath Of The Wild, it tell's me that there is an update, and to update it, I have to update the console, and it's not working...
What can I do ?
