I just got a 3DS today actually and I'm really annoyed I can't remove/delete/uninstall any of the pre-installed software/apps/games, w/e you wanna call em. I just wanted to ask if anyone has found a way to remove them through hacking. It's sad we have to go to such lengths just to remove dumb ass software but for some reason Nintendo believes everyone is going to wanna play "Face Raiders" and look at the safety hazards warning sign symbol every time they turn their game on. I did some searching before I posted both on google and on this forum so I apologize if a solution to my post has already been stated. If something already exists I'd greatly appreciate getting pointed in the right direction and if not I highly recommend something like this being looked into. Thank you and good night.

You know you could just move that stuff to the BACK of the menu right? And what's wrong with face raiders >:c

Wait what? What safety hazards warning sign? I've never seen this, unless I'm not thinking of the correct thing. Everytime I turn a game on, it just shows the Nintendo 3DS logo, then boom, I'm in the game. Even the downloaded games I got, I get no warnings.

Unless the guy is talking about that warning that appears at the front of the menu. Just move it to the back. It's not that big of a annoyance, you're just nitpicking to be honest.

Thank you Dolei for clearing that up. Yes I was referring to the health and safety information icon. I do agree with ShadowSoldier I am nit-picky but I can't help it. I know I can move them to the back of the menu but I still know they are there. Why hold on to something and let it take up space when you don't need it.

Regardless, thank you all for your replies; I greatly appreciate it.

It takes up little space if any at all (I don't know if Nintendo would make that use blocks or anything), which you wouldn't be able to use for anything else anyways. Not to mention, I'm sure it's to cover their asses from lawsuits. They could go the way of Microsoft and Sony and make it so we can't sue them at all.

How does one "move it to the back"? I couldn't figure out how to move things around, but then again, I only tried for ten minutes, when I was not in the proper state of mind. lol. I only pick up my 3ds once a month, if that now.

WHAT SPACE!?!? ITS A FREAKING TXT FILE. Would you rather see it EVERY FREAKING TIME YOU BOOT A GAME UP OR TURN ON THE SYSTEM LIKE THE GBA OR DS!?! Gawd! This is pointless 3DS whining at its finest here folks.

And give Face Raiders a try. I didn't like it at first but then I realized that its even more innovative then AR Cards! (It is guys, its using AR and motion and Gyro at the same time.)
