Not sure as I don't really know Python but the SHA256 for the rommenu seems wrong...

sha256_rommenu = hashlib.sha256(bytes[0x610:0x1AD610]).hexdigest()

should this not be to 0x1AC610, same as rommenu offset 0x38???

Unless I'm misunderstanding how SX licensing works, I think the point of this was so that folks could use something they paid for on multiple switches rather than just one.

Yes it were cracked. Great... But still only compatible until said firmware. So what's the point? So do I see it right that people stay on an old firmware because SX OS somehow works until then? Instead of switching to Atmosphère? Sorry, but i don't get it. You can see that for example with the 3DS. People stay with the old firmware and somehow get stuck with their consoles somewhere. Do what you want. I'm waiting for the first people crying here because it does not work as it should. I'm already preparing the popcorn xD

SXOS 3.10 sha256 hash check added to prevent you using a pre-modded boot.dat. This is added for your safety so you can only patch a clean untouched SXOS 3.10 version, that you might have found on the net - and someone added brick code to.

Also if you mod your emmc module to a higher capacity, or the sx activation server is offline (now sx are feeling the heat) at least you can still use what you paid for if you lose your licence.dat file.

My friend used the boot.dat and license of that link but gets a blackscreen after the Nintendo logo. Does that one still have to be patched somehow?

well, I just ran the script, could not test it... make sure he has everything ok ( I guess it could be some silly thing like using atmos emunand style or who knows what... )
