Hack Pokemon X/Y through QR?

    So I see that you can update X and Y through QR code, and was curious about the concept of making a custom patch, then generating a QR code for it and applying it to the game. Could such a thing be possible?

    Not going to happen. All the QR code does is link your 3DS to the eShop page where the patch is located.

    Oh, did not know that (don't have the game yet, so I wasn't sure how it works).

    Plus I'm pretty sure it's near impossible to convert a patch into a qr code. A QR code is a visual representation of data that devices convert back into machine language and you can only store so much data in a single image. I mean look how many QR Codes it takes to import a design into animal crossing.
