Hey thanks for a great port. I might actually finish DOOM after all these years!

I noticed a small issue with music. When I put the console to sleep and wake up (with GZDoom running), the music sounds a bit distorted - crackling etc. This does not happen after GZDoom is restarted.

My setup is
  • Switch Release 10 (GZDoom 4.10.0+) from Github
  • The Ultimate Doom (aka doomu.wad, c4fe9fd920207691a9f493668e0a2083)
  • On a Switch OLED
  • Via title override
I haven't seen others mention this, so maybe it's just me 🤔
Known issue, IIRC. It's common with other homebrews as well. Just save and exit rather than putting it to sleep.

Hello, I can't get any mods working when i try it either just loads the game without mods or in the case of brutal doom with doom 1 it gives me "The software was closed because an error occured" I am running gzdoom via the nsp hbmenu (or whatever its called"

Not supported in this version, unfortunately.
Not correct! LOR works on this build you need to add id1.wad and simply run it with Doom2.wad

Anyone ever manage to get Walpurgis to run on this? I already know its newest version won't run, requires the latest GZDoom (or at least a version later than this one anyway), I'm just curious if anyone ever got any of its older versions running at any point.

Also: if you're into mods, try Walpurgis! It's sick.
