Hacking GW 3.4.1 keeps wanting to update

Updated to the latest 3.4.1 and every time I go into the gateway it says it must update. I only updated the launcher.dat on the SD card, then done the update, but the screen remains blank, even leaving to 10-15 minutes and no change.

When I go into the GW menu it does say 3.4.1, so why does it keep asking about updating?

Do you hold R when you launch it? Because it forces a fgpa update.

I thought holding R skipped the gateway menu and straight into the DS menu

You've misunderstood. If you don't hold L then it automatically skips the gateway menu. If you hold L then you will stay at the gateway menu. R is if you want to force update incase you're downgrading launcher.
