I did that, but it didn't generate any of those files >_>

Yes, it supports auto-dldi patching for homebrew and the cheat support is awesome. The cheats upport is many leagues better than the R4 cheat engine.

I would imagine that it would work, you just don't encrypt the _DS_MENU.DAT.

Also just wanted to tell Spec2K that I followed your guide and successfully created the YSmenu firmware. I didn't really do it for me, my friend's kids both have R4's who I hook up with games every once in a while and I KNOW they're gonna want that Kirby game and probably the Sonic Chronicles. So it's a good deal.

You know, it would really be nice if Yasu would just let people create the firmware and make it available for download to everyone instead of making each individual person go through all that hassle to create it for themselves. What a pain in the ass.

His personal files....yeah, OK, but the finished firmware should be allowed.

By the way, if you get an error when you enable cheats or such, try renaming the YSMenu folder to TTMenu

Went through all of the steps, but I can't get it to work. I am greeted with this error:

I'm getting an error on Kirby Ultra Star... When I unlock a new game, the dpad,buttons, and touchscreen lock up! I have to reset the DS to make it work again.

Anybody else having this problem?

Narin, do I need to patch something for YSMenu when using on a R4 like there was a patch yasu made for a bug cheat fix or something? I was playing From the abyss and a cheat didn't work.

Also soft reset isn't working yet right?

when i load YSMenu.nds from the R4 III firmware it can boot games fine, but how can i get the YSMenu to boot as the default loader?

You need to put the r4tf.dldi in the same folder then run the ttextract.

Im trying to use the cheats on the YSmenu for the games on my R4, but when loading it comes up with ttreset.dat error.

I put the ttreset.dat file on the sd card and it still has the error.

You might want to put it in the TTmenu directory or rename your whole YSMenu directory.

I need a little help, I finally get YSmenu working with this metod all games work fine, But when i try to play Jump Ultimate Stars it doesnt work, Daigasso works fine for me, Other (J) Games works fine too, But JUS give to me a white screen when i try to load, And , I am using Gbatemp Cheats database (USRCHEAT.dat) And it doesnt work for me (As you may know [Maybe not] im not a cheater, but im glad to use the DSlite backlight control and doesnt work, Some one can say to me:

Why JUS [English Patch] Doesnt work?

Why the cheats also dont work?

I will be happy if someone help me

Does it matter what dump of a game you use? Disgaea comes up with a system halt error while loading,it's a USA dump from ESPALNDS.....

Try renaming the YSMenu folder to TTMenu

Mmm... My folder was called TTMenu, My L button have stoped to work so the cheats work perfectly, Thanks Narin, Hum Im still having that problem with JUS, I just get the rom other time and i still have to try, This time without the english patch, Thanks for replying

Edit: The (J) game works perfectly...
And deufeufeu say to Narin: This is due to DSTT having shitty hardware... the patched rom has perfect headers. You might think twice before assuming... So its a matter with the DSTT?
