Thanks for the amazing guide! I feel very demotivated when I get to a boss on 9.0 and die :P. I was just wondering about something, do the stars in range and melee mean power? If they do I have been missing out a lot...It's really hard to find the right stats to fuse also! Some weapons refuse to carry over the +5 defense that I have which is really annoying XD. I will keep experimenting though and again, thanks for the guide! :)

I don't know. I thought it was an ARPG, no?
No there is no leveling system, the only thing that determine how you play is your weapon, something ultimately boils down to personal preference and strategy.
Weapons have values, a value which can't surpass 350 or so. But having a higher weapon value does not give you much of an advantage online since when killed your opponent wins points based on your weapon value.

Every weapon is customizable with modifiers through for example fusion, every weapon has the potential to give you +4 stamina, +2 back dash shot, +4 health etc.
Bottom line there is no such thing as a ultimate weapon in this game.

Indeed, but don't say it as it is ultimately balanced. It is possbie to make an OP weapon depending on the stats you put in it. Do it effectivelty and no matter the value you have, you WILL have
an advantage.

Yes, but I think that every weapon or at least the majority of them has the potential to reach that status.

Thanks for the guide by the way, I trying to beat it at intensity 9 myself so it's great to be able compare like this.

Yes, that's the beauty of the game, I can give you an example of that.

Let's say you have an Eyetrack Orbitar (I'm assuming you know which weapon I'm talking about)
Personally, I would aim for 6 stars in ranged
Shot range +3
Shot homing +3
Dash. ch shot +4
Of course having more stats is good too, but just having these three and you'll be killing enemies easily. The problem with this is that it's not easy to have 'em. That's where the value comes into play. XD A high value means that it's more likely to have these stats.

One thing I just can't play without is the stamina modifier, I hate getting tired while running even if it's something that evens out certain weapons.

Hahaha, then I think you're gonna like the weapon I'm currently using in multiplayer. ;)

Yeah, I love experimenting weapons but I just love palms. Especially this one since I rarely die with it and I make 6-9 kills per match. XD

I read somewhere that the max is 355.

Somewhat on the same topic though, I finally got a 300+ value weapon by beating chapter 7 on intensity 7.2! So excited!

Weapon: Meteor bow
Ranged: 5 1/2 *s
Melee: 2 *s
Value: 319
Health +2
Poison +1
Shot range +2
Running speed +3
Backward-dash ch. shot +2
Side-dash cont. fire +1

instead of challenging myself with the goal of beating everything at 9.0, I try to do it with the first weapon you get in the game. :creep:
how's that for difficult

There should totally be an in-game achievement for that, and the reward would be use of the 3 sacred treasures in every chapter! :-D lol

Hahaha lol that would be a suckish reward for me. Most of my weapons are way more powerful than the three sacred treasures. XD

Eh, I literally played chapter 7 about 15-20 times to beat it on intensity 7.2, so I'm a little sick of it right now, lol. I'll definitely try it soon though, after I do some other chapters!
