I've read that at 7+ badges the freezing gets less frequent (60ish events iirc?), so wouldn't it be possible to just add badges into the game to stop the freezing instead of removing them?

how the hell does this not work??? the game works on the acekard, therefore buying an acekard will fix the issue

So, I've used this temporary solution up and into Kanto, where I've obtained 2 badges.
But to me, it looks like Pokesav doesn't have the ability to check and uncheck badges 9-16...

So am I wrong, or am I stuck now until there's a solution?

Use action replay code to remove all badge then use pokesav to add those you needed back.

Is the game really worth playing if you need to go through all those extraordinary measures just to do so? Personally, I like having a prinstine save file that isn't the result of tampering... playing the game using the methods outlined in this thread would be like having a splinter in my mind.

I don't know how you could buy online with out being worried about people trying to steal money from your card. I'm just paying and picking it up from the person selling it. XP

There's these great things called Trusted sites, you need to know them if you wanna get anywhere. For all you know I could be stealing your IP right now and I could be finding an open port and hacking into your PC as we speak.

Lol. I see your point but i still will not shop online. O well. I'll pay a little extra for the peace of mind.
