That's likely to be an old partition for savegames/DLC etc.
Nowadays the 360 doesn't use it anymore as it can directly communicate with FAT32 (possibly NTFS?) for storing games/savegames etc.
That is on a retail system.
I believe RGH systems still need FAT32.

What do you mean? It seems the folder is indeed for the Memory Unit. I tried copying my other MU folder and it didn't work, now when I try to rename the old folder to the MU folder name(Xbox360) it doesn't recognize it either.

Basically I can't create a profile because it's telling me I don't have a USB or a hard drive, and when I looked at the option to create an MU, it says it will format my external HDD, which I guess will delete all my stuff?

I have Freestyle Dash on an old external HDD with some games and my old profile with saves and achievements. I bought a new external HDD and it has some games too but with it's own Freestyle dash. I want to transfer the stuff from my old HDD to the new one, but I'm not sure how. The games I think I could just copy over but I don't know how to transfer the old profile and the save files.

Plug both hdds in and go into the system settings and copy the saves from the old hdd to the new hdd.
Where are the saves located?

By the way I read that Freestyle will no longer be updated and Aurora is its successor, is Aurora better? Can Aurora take screenshots? Can I update Freestyle without internet? Because the Xbox can't seem to connect to my hotspot.

The system settings in the original dashboard.

Well I did it. I plugged both hard drives, opened Freestyle's File Manager, opened USBMU0 and USBMU1'd Content folders, copied all the folders from the old HDD except for the one named 0000000000, profiles and saves transferred. These folders contained my profiles and saves. Was able to load my character from Mass Effect 1 to Mass Effect 2.

Thanks DinohScene and DarkGabbz!
