Have you even read it completely?

If you want piracy and online play, Xkey/flashed DVD drive is the way.
Just piracy, JTAG/RGH.
Piracy + homebrew, JTAG/RGH.
Everything, RGH + Dual NAND + flashed DVD drive/Xkey.

Hi, thanks for the topic!
I have a Phat 360 (Black model / Jasper) with 13604 FMW and the DVD reader flashed with LT 2.0.
I can play with all burned XGD2 iso, but i read the i'm out of luck for XGD3 game like the first Forza Horizon, i'm right?

With those premises, the best way to play it is still RGH1 actually? if yes, what model?
I will prefear the easiest and cheap method, and I don't care to go online with the console.

Thank you for any answer!

RGH1 will work yep.
However, I think it's actually cheaper to get a DVD drive which is compatible with the Burner max payload tool then to RGH it.
Updating it to LT 3.0 can pretty much be done yourself.
mmm i get it, i have a TSSTcorp TS-L633C model in my laptotp (I'm burning XGD2 games with no problems), I'll try with that, on the "may not burn games properly" there are very similar models, maybe it will work.

For the LT 3.0 instead, how can i upgrade it?
I read online that i need the original driver fmw but i don't have it, i bought the console from a guy some years ago, so i didn't modified the console by me.

Thank you again :)

You can flash it with your PC/laptop if you got a compatible SATA chipset.
If not, you could send the drive to me and I can update it for free (if you provide shipping costs)
Shipping within Europe luckily.
My PC have this motherboard:

http://abit.ws/page/sa/motherboard/motherboard_detail.php@pMODEL_NAME=IX38+QuadGT&fMTYPE=LGA775

And the SATA chipset is the ICH9R, that is on your linked list!

Whit this method i still need X360 USBPro and/or Probe 3?
If not, what is the procedure for flash the drive only via SATA?

Thanks again for your time!

i have bought a xbox 360 slim MFR 24-6-2011, i went to a modding shop to mod it to connect usb hard disk with isos and make it play isos from dvd drive
he told me he must jtag it and i cannot connect to xbox live again , i agreed , i don't know what he will do exactly, but i am asking is it possible to have dual nand
after he jtag it or it depends on the way he uses, thanks

I have a slim that I sent out a while ago to have an RGH installed along with a dual nand.

Just the press of a switch on the back to toggle between RGH HDD loading & the regular nand for xbox live.

Please stop writing with capslock on.
It makes it sound like you're shouting.

No, unless you have a Dual NAND solution, you cannot go onto Xbox Live.
And no, backups from DVD isn't possible unless you flash the DVD drive.
The external harddrive is probably already set up.

You'll need to get a copy of a game from the web and extract it with Xbox Image Extractor.
Then copy the extracted game to the folder which holds the other games.
