The gui looks very nice.

Three things.

1-Pleaseee could you change the usb port pleaseeee

2-When push "SMB Share" without configuration the program hangs.

3-Could you add a multiple wad instalation list?

I did not get to test Rev11 yet, but, in Rev8, there is some strange bug in which if you are in browsing SMB, and then click SD it gives some sort of error and goes back to the menu. I forget the screen and I'm not home right now, but I think it had 4 buttons on in, like SMB, SD, and I forget the other 2 buttons. I think it does the same thing if you select SD and then try to switch to SMB. It was able to reproduce the problem/glitch every time. My USB is only WBFS, so, I did not try anything with that.

It's not bad...seemed to work quite well...just an odd glitch.

Keep up the great work!
This is a sweet app.

Thanks for posting the .dol files...I've yet to venture into compiling anything myself yet.

UPDATE: Also still little bug in rev11...
When switching back-n-forth between SD and SMB, eventually, but cannot determine the sequence, eventually, an error is produced:
"Unable to display files on selected" with the buttons SD, SMB, USB, and Back.

Sometimes, when clicking SMB twice, it actually switches from SMB to SD.
The "Unable to display files on selected" error only seems to manifest itself when the .dol is started from HBC...when started with the Channel Forwarder, it is near impossible to produce.

I've used Rev8 repeatedly without issues. Install, Uninstall of various Wiiware titles via SMB share. Personally for me this is #2 right after USB Loader GX on awesome Wii apps...

As a side note because an earlier message of mine is kind of buried in this thread I'm curious if the save information has to be deleted? I load and unload Wiiware for the kids so sometimes a reload of the same Wiiware weeks apart (but the save info is gone) so they have to start from scratch.

This is a fantastic app. I channelized it and now use it as my primary wad manager. GREAT work!

youc could tranfer them to sd then when u uninstall a wad the save is still safe on ur sd card

I thought of that pepxl but some saves do not transfer (World of Goo and Water Warfare), but really I was just wondering if there was a programatic reason the save info was deleted and if that could be a switch/setting.

on the normal way with the wii menu some saves dont transfer? that new for me

but there was a savegame manager from waninkoko i think

maybe this is a solution for you (dunno if it work with vc/wiiware saves)

Yes this app is legen... (wait for it) dary! The convenience of SMB cannot be stated enough times.
SMB is just AWESOME!

The little bug/glitch that I've experienced is probably getting lost up there...since I edited an older post...
But, there is some small glitch that occurs (sometimes) when switching back and forth between SMB and SD.

I don't mean to be repetitive...just hoping the developer sees and is able to correct.

I realize most people won't be switching repeatedly back-n-fort between SD and SMB, but, there is a glitch of some sort there.
Not a big deal, it doesn't code dump or anything.

Great application!

Agreed. SMB should be mandatory in ALL wad managers

If I try to use the fat32 partition of my usb-drive with wad-manager 1.4/1.5, I get the following message:
Mounting device, please wait... ERROR! (ret = -1)
Can anyone help me with this problem?
With the WiiXplorer, I can get access to the same partition...

Wii 3.2E, cIOS38rev14(249), cIOS202,222,223rev3, preloader0.29, WK2

Connect your device to the other usb port.

Yes, it will work for the GUI Wad Manager 1.5, but then the drive won`t work with e.g. the USB-Loader GX.
The problem is still there, if I use the WAD-Manager 1.4/1.5 without GUI.

I guess, it`s a problem of the new cIOS222 which was released with the WiiXplorer.
I took the cIOS installer for USB2 and then there was the problem.
When I try to reinstall the older Hermes cIOS, I also get the error-message.
