This is AWESOME! I wonder if there would be a way to add showing the banner or icon from the wad in the wad list.
Just a thought. Totally not necessary...and maybe/probably too much overhead...especially when using SMB.

Still AWESOME though!

Well yes... that'd be too difficult; I think that to show that is more difficult to do than the whole application! Anyway, nice idea. Was proposed for the other GUI Wad Manager in which GiantPune & others are working on. Don't know if they will implement it though

nIxx sayd it could be done, but the banner will not be animated..

i look into the usbloader gx forwarder source to make the forwarder you want

but could anyone with more graphic expirience make a splashscreen?
(and post it here

)

i think it no good idea to put the gui wad manager.dol directly in the channel because it will get updates than i/we have to replace it all the time

ok forwarder is done but i need a nice looking splashscreen from anyone here

thanks to the usb loader gx team, wilsoff and close2insanity on wadder.net

Order of loading by forwarder
Looks for SD:\forwarders\Gui Wad Manager.cfg
Reads the application directory from the config file
Tries to load the boot.dol from that directory, if that fails
Tries to load the boot.elf from that directory, if that fails

Wow!!! Great work Meannekes! Will install the forwarder when I get home.

Thanks for your hard work!

thx but there is one bug :/

if you start the app from the forwarder channel, than the config.xml dont get read, and if you try to save a new config.xml it code dumbs

i have to ask nIxx what happens there ^^
maybe i know what it is

@Nixx, could you put USB port0 (the bottom port when Wii is horizontal) as default for this app? Most apps use port0 so it´s some inconvenient change to port1 to use with USB devices.
Thanks

Oh, I thought you said that in R9 the problem with the forwarder not reading the XML was fixed. Guess I misunderstood?

yes your right,

but now it is fixed, nIxx send me new boot.dol 5 minutes ago to test if it works now with the forwarder
and yes now it is fixed

Rev11

the forwarder works perfect with this rev
