Does it have the 1.1 delete bug fixed?

I made myself a modified version with the better font someone had posted, and the original wii system music...although adding that song added about 7mb to the file size (i'll have to trim that down), I'm liking it!.

The scrollbar doesn't work quite right, but I can live with that for now.

can you share that grante i'd like to try it (im a sucker for mods)

thanks in advanced ether way bro

r76 with better font and wii system background music: http://rapidshare.com/files/223089584/boot.zip

If someone wants to trim/recompress the music for me to make it a bit smaller, that would be great. Needs to still be an ogg file. http://rapidshare.com/files/223089823/bg_music.ogg

I'm really hoping to see some of the features from hungryip84's loader ported over to this one, in particular
- cover downloading
- titles.txt renaming
- childproof mode (disable deleting games, optionally disable adding them)

I'm not to familiar with C/C++ but i'm going to see if I can do anything to help there.

One bug I noticed is that the last game in the list isn't positioned properly...the highlight bar when it's selected goes to the right place, but the text is about half a line too high for some reason. I have over 60 games installed if that makes any difference.

Changing it to work off 1.5 of Waninkoko's code would be good too, since it has a lot of fixes since 1.1

Yes should be everything fixed because i recently updated the libwbfs files with the files from SDUSBLoader 1.5 from wanin.

@vettacossx: Hmm this is weird because everything is working fine for me.
btw. did you used the SVN source ?

i used the Dol file dimok provided and compiled i get the same result using grantes as far as the boxart is concerned however his has much much better music (just like the wii menu) grantes would be a great DOL to have preloader load in place of the system menu loading up on boot

love the creativity of the scene! keep em comin

im sure the boxart thing will get worked out maybe i have TOO MANY DISC IMAGES? (164 of them) my boxart res is 160x224

did you watch the video?
seems strange that... when NEVER REMOVING MY SD CARD one dol can load the boxart and the newer one cant
wink.gif
same directory though
wink.gif
makes me think its a bug

Hmm
is it possible that you use for the boxart images the whole GameID (XXXXXX.png) and not like the DVD covers only the first 3.
That would explain why the older Loader load them but not the new one.

that now applies to the box arts as well? i thought it was just the disc ids ill try that out thanks for the advice nixx sounds right i still use the 6 digit boxarts

(is there a pack with the renamed 3 digits i missed on page 48 while renaming those disc? ill have to look LOL damnit all! hahaha)

I always got the warning when I try to compile

QUOTE said:
menu.cpp
c:/r76/source/menu.cpp: In function 'int MenuDiscList()':
c:/r76/source/menu.cpp:1149: warning: null argument where non-null required (argument 2)
It generated boot.dol in the end, but I am wondering will there be any problem with the dol? Any help? thanks.

No, you will always get that error. But the way the code is processed by the Wii, it never comes across that error.

does anyone else have the problem of game titles overlapping each other (on top of each other) when they have over 200 games in the list?

is there a limit?....top 38 games have text corruption with 228 installed

You guys might want to hold off on mass resizing these pictures until the loader is closer to being finished. If it is decided to go with a bigger cd picture, you will lose quality when you make them bigger. The only reason it is currently 160x160 is because that is the number i pulled from my ass when i first wrote the code.

Also, I have written a batch app that will make all the centers and corners transparent and resize the disks. As long as the disk is a circle, it works (regardless of any shadows behind the disk).
That is not true giantpune. The 160x160 size i choose coz it really fits there and no we wont go with HIGHER size, maybe smaller but not higher!.

@all I got an idea to how solve your guys 6 IDs / 3 IDs delemma. How about we make it check for 6 IDs if none found check for 3 IDs and if none found load the standard!

This way you can have 1 Boxart for each game and if you want a custom Guitar Hero or whatever boxart you can just give it a 6 ID name which is also displayed under the Cover

.

I would make it for BOTH covers and disc images!

What do you think of this idea?
