because we are copying the Wii menu so no need (just create link channels on Wii menu...)!

I mean we need something very FLOWING like Itunes (Images with Magnet effect on a Black cristral baground) would give more pleasure to use

Agree! Something like ITune or the other idea (can't remember the name... sory) would be way better!
 
So i was a bit busy today anyway i uploaded my source on Google Codes
It still only read the GameID´s and Gamenames from the USB Drive only other thing i tried so far was installing a game but i hadn´t success (DVD drive doesn´t starts up possibly it need a own thread but i´m not sure)

So anyone who wants to help (and can help) here is the link to Google Codes

PS: The postitioning of the buttons is a bit messed upped to make space for the Gamelist but this can be fixed later

Finaly!!! Now only the others should join the site, and progress should be very faster...I'm not a Coder, so I'm not in...but good to see that someone made the first step!!! Now it's on the others

No. Understanding and reverse engeneering the BNR animation format is very complex and would take months or years. Even marcan couldn't (in February) render all files right.

Sounds like you never heard of the Benzin Project or WiiMU.

Anyone made the Games boot who works with libwiigui? I am getting a freeze in the apploader.c file at the for loop.

I dont know why, but i cant fix this crash. Do i need to shutdown something of libwiigui before doing Disc_WiiBoot(); like Videosystem or anything? (except HaltGui()

Mousex got it working, I can confirm that

..but I think he used YAL, and rewrote/ported/took important things out of/ it (

)...so I guess this won't realy help you...let's just wait what he now decideds to do (Code alone, or together)...but it will be a great GUI anyways...

Well i dont really care if he wants to code alone. I am coding alone too. I just need a tip on how to start the function Disc_WiiBoot(); (where in the libwiigui and under what conditions). I am getting this stupid freeze if i put it at the end of the whole programm. If i start it under ResumeGui(); , it gives me a Dump Stack.

If anyone know how to solve this, i would really be glad to hear it.

So far, thats the nicest GUI. Hope someone will make it. It should be really easy to do as the longest part is done(graphics).

I would love this one, i think it is a great style.
Background images would be a bonus, but if it was made without them first I would still be really happy

I got it now. I used a wrong Makefile (the one from libwiigui, some stuff from Waninkokos were missing).

Now everything is working find

I postet my progress on the german forum wii-homebrew.com.

I am implementing install and remove now. Everything else is in.
These two are going to be fast, i spend a few hours searching for my error in the source and it was right in front of me lol T_T.

Btw i saw your googlecode. Can i use ur Progressbar function for the install process?
 
I am doing this just to learn to work with libwiigui. I dont really care for the Loader. I am fine with the "GUI" from Waninkoko lol.
