Did you try with hdmi cable to your hdtv to see if the gpu works?

1st Check that your power supply has enough watts to both power the video card and the rest of your system.

2nd If it doesn't have a six pin then sometimes an adapter can power the card https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007Y91B8...t=&hvlocphy=1026957&hvtargid=pla-312362927181

3rd sometimes you need to upgrade your motherboard bios to support new video cards. Check into that.

Lastly check the card in a different some other computer. Sometimes you just get a bad card :(

Wait 1050ti? You mean 1060 right? Because the 1050ti runs off of the Pci power not the PSU.

what? are you sure? I thought mine used one of the six-pin connectors from my psu. I'll check to make sure though.

Some require a 6-pin connector. Some do not apparently.

You're correct, even though he got the oc edition. I guess he doesn't overclock, so he shouldn't have any problem with power supply.
We don't know if his gpu fan spin or if he tried with hdmi cable, no reply.
