I followed all the steps I have a non patched rom renamed as xpa-gtac, then I get a patched file with the size of 81.1 mb, then I get dslazy then I unpack it I get its arm9 bin file and put it at the desktop, then I get the nonpatched rom and I unpack it I replace the arm9 file with the arm9 file from the patched rom then I pack then I get a rom its size is 119 I think then I start it it goes black

Working here on SuperCard SD First Version (the "big" old one) with default options in the patcher (same as the other roms, "Enable Restart", "Faster Play Game", "Enable patch Cartridge acess : High").

Wifi not working (with v2 patch), the "connection test" don't find the wifi signal contrary to the others games I tried to be sure it wasn't a router problem (but it's not a big deal as GTA multiplayer's mode aren't really great, like GTA IV one).

As you can see on the main page...there is a cheat code fix... so wait for someone to add it to the database and tada no need to worry about those steps.

working 100% here. wifi and singleplayer. cyclods 1.54b4

i used the patch on the untouched rom, extracted the patched arm9 and inserted it into the original rom with dslazy...

Driving is sooo much better with Steering Assist turned off in the Settings!

wat file in the patch do i use to arm9 patch after unpacking?

use the 2nd patch on the original rom, then extract the arm9 file from the patched rom and replace the arm9 in the original with the patched one.

Should i be worried about something since i replaced both arm7 and arm9?!?! (it works fine though)

Long way to go for a 2 byte change... again, if you can use a hex editor you could just...
@ 0x100B3E on a clean dump change

to
00100B30 1C 26 56 43 13 AA 12 78 00 90 01 91 03 92 32 22
Without any unpacking/repacking/swapping tricks. Trim after, if you like (or wait for a cheat code which will do the same thing.)

Is this any different to just the arm9 file replacement?

for some reason it wont work on cyclo if arm7 and arm9 are replaced, but if it works for you on whichever card you are using i wouldnt be too terribly concerned.

Nope, aside from the fact the ROM doesn't have to be rebuilt (which there is room for error as ndstool doesn't always conform to putting things back in their original places.)

Its not really easier than using .bat cause you have to unpack, hex edit and repack. I dont think thats easier than running a single .bat file

The offset is on the clean rom, not the unpacked arm9, so yeah it's easier. An xdelta for a 2 byte patch would also have no questionably legal content in it like the current xdelta (v2 still has a replacement arm7 in it, which from what I saw also causes some stuttering ingame meaning unpacking both and swapping back to the original arm7 whilst praying ndstool is aligning things properly for cards that don't need arm7 replaced.)

In fact it does exactly what your cheat code does, changes the two bytes without having to break out a cheat code editor and such. Also, like I said above, ndstool doesn't always rebuild/align things quite right.

When I execute the bat it makes a 0kb rom. Any idea what went wrong?

I have the same problem..

I followed all instructions and when I run the xpa-gtac,
it produces a 0KB patched ROM...

Could someone just give a download link of the patched arm9 file?
