If you get a 0k file it means your ROM doesn't match the original/clean/untrimmed that was used to make the patch.

Here, the two bytes in arm9 changed and the final result trimmed tokyotrim style

For lazy buggers who just want to click on ind's .bat file instead of learn something about a hex editor. Use this instead of doing multiple patches and repacks just to get the arm9 fixed (or use iNF's cheat code I guess, it does the same thing.)

BTW, arm7 is not replaced so this delta has no copyrighted content in it that I am aware of (unlike others, better to suggest donors than give a full arm7 binary in the delta.)

And I feel even more sorry for the r4 users who were gonna weep thinking that there may never be a solution other than a firmware update that most assumingly thought was the only solution. You can get a good night's sleep now crybabies..

Wait, when I downloaded, there was only an ARM7 With dslazy. How do i only patch ARM9 then?

You need the arm9.bin from a differnt rom, and no you dont have to rename it.

meerkatman, just use the xdelta I posted a few minutes ago or the cheat code. Replacing arm9 isn't really an option, the suggested replacement comes from using v1 or v2 of the ind patches.

Of course, I can tell you to get V1 or V2 patches that do have a donor arm7 embedded, or better yet find your own donor arm7 (seems a lot of people don't know it's not the devs of the game that supply arm7 but Big-N themselves which is why many arm7's are interchangeable while arm9 never will be) and use dslazy or similar to do the arm7 fix as it has always been done.

Any rate, have fun you all - this game is definitely worth a purchase if you are into the genre at all.
