Hacking GTA: CW on SCDS ONE

I'm using the clean rom with "speed patch" disabled to run this game. It runs normally, without lags or slowdowns, but after the first or second "Wade Heston" mission (that detective guy who appears on the game), when I save, turn off the DS and turn on to load, the game just starts all over again from the beggining. I lost all my progress because of that. Somebody experienced this or know why this happens?

I have heard that having the manual memory speed settting too high can corrupt saves in GTA, a max setting of 15 is reccomended.

Best bet is to use the AR code and use normal settings.

I understood. But I don't think thats what's happening to me, cause it's always after Wade Heston's mission. I don't think it's a coincidence, but I will try with the cheat.

I would like to know if somebody else is playing this game with the clean rom and without cheats like me with SCDS ONE and if it happened to them too.
