Apple Greenpois0n will be untethered for 4.2.1

Instead of releasing a tethered version (like Redsn0w 0.9.6) of GreenPois0n for iOS 4.2.1 jailbreak, members of Chronic Dev have decided to work on their own untethered solution for iOS 4.2.1 jailbreak, confirms Joshua Hill, one of the members of the team.

When asked if it is the same exploit as the one Comex has been working on, and whether or not it will require SHSH blobs for 4.2b3 like Redsn0w 0.9.7. Joshua said that they are working on their own untethered exploit, and that it will not require SHHS blobs for 4.2b3

This will probably be released in a while, since they didn't give any ETAs.

After FORCING a 4.2 update on me (as of now 4th gen touches have them), I cannot wait for this!

i got my itouch4g 2 weeks ago and the firmware was 4.0
i blindly updated to 4.2.1 though so it's my fault.

anyway im still waiting for the untethered one because lately my itouch would just shut down when im out and no access to any PC
