Graf_Chokolo gets raided AGAIN!

why is sony doing this! its so immoral and forceful. If people really and truly boycott their products it will send a message. There must be something we can do just now so that they may atleast not go to such extremes.
its just insane.

This guy will commite suicide one day... he seems the type to do this...
Huh? Have you even bothered to READ what he's said?
He comes off sounding amused at the whole situation, a bit troublesome and maybe inconveniencing for him but otherwise he sounds perfectly fine.

Of course I saw. I just combined it with the other times where he said something. Of course I'm just trolling/speculating. =)

Even though it seems highly unlikely that he'd commit suicide, I thought it too after I've read this statement on his blog today:
QUOTETo give up would mean for me to betray my principles guys, so, the next question is what is more worth to me, my life or my principles. Keep my principles and destroy my life or to trample on my principles and save my life ? Most of you know only my work and don’t really know my personality, the guy who stands behind graf_chokolo. I’m proud how my parents brought me up, they tought to me to fight for my principles and what is right. To be a man of principles is not an easy task.

you should have read his last statement the first time his house got raided
it did sound downright suicidal

saying he cannot live unless he can hack the ps3 and stuff like that

if sony were the cause of his death....hmmm, i wonder how that would go for them?

It'd probably go over fine. Sony aren't exactly nice but they're not gonna send a fucking hit squad to some random hacker.

No, but seriously, I doubt any harm will come to him.

Good God. Sony just don't know/care when to give up. >.< This is even more ridiculous than all the locked Sony topics... I called it.

I honestly wonder if Graf gets his equipment back when they're done examining it.

Fuckers shouldn't have took away OtherOS in the first place.
Personally, I'm more peeved that the "fuckers" took away PS2 compatibility. Don't get me wrong though; OtherOS should be restored at once.
Had they kept PS2 compatibility this whole time, the console right now would be priced higher because of keeping the actual PS2 hardware it ran on.
I don't care. In my opinion, the current PS3 is an incomplete product without it, let alone getting rid of OtherOS. I'd also like to hear some of Schlupi's argument regarding backwards compatibility.

I agree; Backwards compatibility would've made the PS3 so much better. Taking it away was a big mistake.

Wasn't this the same guy that challenged Sony?

Depends on what you mean by challenge. He said that if Sony was going to come after him, he would release all of his stuff to the internet first. Which he did.

But Sony really does need to stop. I get wanting to protect your console, sure. But he's not trying to do harm to the company, he's trying to bring OtherOS back. Also, constantly raiding him? Really?
