I have a N3DS/A9LH, and recently installed the cia of the latest stable version of GpSP, and placed the gba_bios.bin where it goes in the system folder.

Almost every game I try causes the system to crash and restart, either immediately or a few seconds into the game. Am I doing something wrong?

You mean CitrAGB right (gpSP based)
Try mGBA instead, it's supposedly better. Though CitrAGB shouldn't be crashing like that.

I was under the impression GpSP was the best one for N3DS. :/

Some games work -- Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland and Pokemon Emerald run just fine for example. But many don't, like Advance Wars 1 and 2.

Gpsp crashes all the time. Use gba vc injection instead! :)

^^ Honestly the best solution. You may not get Save state support, but you're guaranteed to get perfect FPS 99% of the time. Plus, if you're using AuReiNand, you just have to inject the CIA to play it. :)

It's common for gpsp to crash, the other day I tried the stable release and was playing Crash Bandicoot 2 N trance. The emulator randomly crashed while I was playing for no reason. Using the stable release too (1.3.3)

mGBA is a good alternative, but has sound issues at times.

somewhere on the east coast maybe
for N3DS mGBA is your best bet, but if you get the vc injections to work then those run best

    Under your bed ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Why are you using it? The retroarch version of Mgba is so better.

They're both not great. Installing a VC cia seems like a better choice at the moment.
