Hacking Got my DS-X today

I'm convinced by this post (and the post on DS-X forum) that DS-X does not have good quality.

I will not buy it.

I agree that there needs to be a standard on reviews. But, I have learned in life to take every thing people say with a grain of salt.

Actually, I'm pretty handy with the content manager systems, and web design. I've been thinking about starting a website that was uses some of my ideas. If anybody wanted to get in the ground floor of that, be a reviewer/contributer or whatever, send a pm my way. I could use some partners.

For those who are bitching about DS-X being too expensive, for all the things it could do based on the reviews, I think it is pretty impressive. Kudos to DS-X team for making this product in the first place. 512MB is enough for games and then some multimedia files. Stop being a cheapskate. You already rape Nintendo for their games. Now you are going to save money on your flash card too.

For my mini review of DS-X I got it from Modchipman.com yesterday. This thing really rocks! I have a second batch with excess plastic molding. At first, I have to hold my cart in place to make it work on my DS. I shaved off the extra plastic. Now it works like a charm. The DS-X support team was great! They know exactly my problem and guide me through the entire process.

I am happy with my purchase. I spent $140 including FedEx shipping. I intend to use it for DS games only. I am not interested in homebrew applications or mp3's. I have a PSP to handle my multimedia needs. For 512MB I could fit 14 games in there.

All shops are pretty much sold out by now...

Lol i got like 16 legit games on my ds Not to speak about my 40+ and 30+ gba and gbc collection.

After like teh 4x delay till end of november I had it with ds-xtreme, I cancelled my already paid for order from Oct 28 and use that cash for a Wii instead.

About the battery life, it is really like playing a normal Retail cart, with the lights off.
