Hardware Got an new PSP battery

Question is, How long does a PSP battery take to charge the first time? Thanks

3 hours or so via power cord or about 5 hours via USB. I'd imagine around about that anyway.

Why do you need to know? Why not just plug it in and wait for the light to go off?

can you even charge a psp by usb?

i used my camera usb cord, and it wouldnt charge

I have a PSP and have never heard of them being able to charge via U.S.B. but the PSP Slim and Lite is able to!

I think what opium meant is the USB to USB+charge 2 headed cable.
Opposed to socket-AC adapter-charge cable.

The new Slims can charge by USB. I can't remember but I think there was a mod a while back that had USB charging too.

You can buy a third party USB charger for your PSPhat...

I bought a 2-in-1 USB Charger/Car Charger for my PSPhat from Gamestop a few months back from Gamestop, I forget the name of the company that made it, however...
