Instead of coming from some innovyx.net, it would more likely come from sony.com if it were real...

It's real.
They send the email through innvovyx.net.

I was going to hold out until a circumvention was developed-but wow this is crazy pressure

Well that sucks, but simply clean up your console if you want to use PSN and re-install a CFW if you finished with PSN and want to use homebrew or whatever you can do with a CFW.

Edit: Oh I forgot that a CFW for 3.56 is not availabe yet. Either upgrade to 3.56 and use PSN or stay at a lower firmware and use a CFW.

What's crazy is that I dont even use psn all that much besides the odd match online for Gundam Games nothing else really comes to mind-so im not all that worried anymore lol

I got this too. lol.

Whats with blank posts?

Oh boy. That's why I am not going on PSN and never will.. I don't. I do not care about PSN.. EVER. I am happy playing offline all the time. I don't understand people like you and see whats happening ? Now you are in trouble.. Be careful.

As everyone else has said, you have two options:

1) Update your PS3 to 3.56. You may or may not get banned, Sony is under no obligation to let you continue since they already know your PS3 is hacked.

2) Don't update your PS3 and definitely get banned. If you've been hacking your console, you should have long since prepared for this scenario already.

So... how to I un-mod from 3.55 GH?Go in to recovery mode and flash OFW 3.55 or 3.56. Then wipe your hard drive for good measure.

QUOTE(ComplicatioN @ Feb 17 2011, 01:39 AM) Do they only send this to people they know that hacked? or everyone?
To PSN accounts that have been used on hacked consoles.
