Any image tricks aside, they really don't look that much different to me.

It looks pretty much the same apart from the resolution disparity. And obviously when the 3DS screenshot is scaled up to be compared against the Vita one, it's not going to look as good. Personally I prefer the 3DS version if only because of the second screen.

When making multi-platform games, you have to develop for the lowest-common denominator (3DS). The Vita is certainly capable of more than this.

Yeah, the graphics look the same, without counting with the image that was stretched and make it blurry... The Vita is more powerful as the 3DS, and honestly using these two images to prove that the Vita is better wasn't very smart, as the graphics are pretty much the same and the Vita could do much better (I prefer the 3DS, but it is a fact that the Vita has better graphics) so, that's not a image to compare to begin with... Also, while the Vita's strong point is it's graphics, lighting and etc.. The 3DS's fort is the 3D, and we clearly cant see that in the pc...

Edit 2: I hope this game gets released in Europe, I friggin loved 999

#1 both versions are unfinished
#2 depends on the developer to use the resources of the system

If that's all the Vita can do... I'm not impressed.

That pic isn't the best example... I mean, the rocks are really ugly on that... I bet the vita can do better..
