Actually Professor Layton worked for me on 1.48. Also i just tried Last window to test it out and i got to the part where he enters the building and then i shut it off. But it should be working.

Professor Layton worked for u on 1.48 because u r running the cracked rom instead of a clean rom
and there is no reason for them to lie if they had already fixed it
