what's a good , Free To Play MMO worth playing with friends ? we've been searching for one , but just can't seem to find it . any genre as long as we can play together . we've played through MapleStory, Dragon Nest, League of Legends and a few more that i can't remember right now . we aren't looking for any specific genre or game type .

Not sure if it's still the same, but Flyff used to be fun (2007/2008). Well, check and try it out.

thanks for the suggestions ! we're currently downloading World of Warcraft and FlyFF at the moment just to test it out and see if we'll like it . we are open to anything , so private servers are a choice as well . it's just that if we get tired of the grinding to try to level up , we may consider switching to a private server .

@prowler - about Phantasy Star Online: Blur Burst . is it the one on the private server ?

EDIT: Also , just a quick note , are there any types of aim + shoot online games ? or it could also be considered hack and slash in a way since in Dragon Nest , we ran around just spamming our skills :3

Dungeons and Dragons Online or DDO is pretty good, if you know some tricks you can get like 90% of the content with out paying a dime. But getting it all for free requires a ton of play time and starting toons on every server to earn turbine points.

At any rate even if you just want the free stuff with out working for the pay stuff or buying it, the game is still a blast to play and its free so you can't beat it.

i'd say go for Eden Eternal , and they have dungeon quests , which need a party of 3 or 5 and they are gonna add 8 party dungeon maps, and you can change your class anytime you wish and level them up , and their alot of classes

you could try Everquest 2, it has free to play options but you are a tad limited, but can easily go all the way to 90 with the limitations. you can buy equipment unlockers if you wish to equip some of the better gear in the game.
