Well Dan Akroyd & Harold Ramis wrote a script for Ghostbusters 3 but Bill Murray was against filming it because of age reasons or something so they decided to go CGI and then for some reason they wanted it to be a game instead.

The differences? Well aside from being a truer experience of the film there is also another chapter that is all new and written for the games.

For Sierra, I dunno I guess its because Ghostbusters is still very popular, the films are always on TV, merchandise still sells well. And also they did some sort of poll about films people would like to see as a game and this came out on top. They did also do the excellent Scarface game too.

I showed this trailer to the Mrs and she's demanding that we get another 360. Result!

Nice trailer, but I must say that the movimentation of the characters is looking kinda stiff.. :/

ghostbusters figures kicked ass, there was this volkswagen beetle that instantly transformed into a bigass grasshopper thing, etc

This is gonna kick ass. And if it was originally a movie script as well, we can expect a better story than most games. My only worry with the game was the risk of a lack of plot seeing as it's a game-sequel to a movie. It seems I shouldn't be worried if that's the case though.

I read somewhere that the script for the game is larger than the two movies put together.
