Homebrew Getting the OTP A9LH problem

Good morning,

I am now on step 15 - Section II (Part 4) of Plailect's wonderful guide.

Since I had problems with the downgrading (to 9.2.0) part, (read the topic linked on top and you will understand how I am worried about continuing),
I'm asking you if is there a way to understand if, until now, I did everything correctly and can restore 2.1.0 on SysNand WITHOUT risks.

There's always a small risk, since there's always a chance that you did something wrong or something else.

BUT if you followed every step of the guide you should be good to go.

There's ALWAYS a slight chance but as long as you're following the guide down to the T you should be fine. I have successfully installed A9LH on over 15 o3ds' and 4 n3ds' and have ran into a few issues in the earlier versions of the guide but everything seems to be fine now. Make sure you have the NEWEST OTP HELPER since it has various checks that you can run on the emunand first before you flash to sysnand

If you followed the guide you can restore 2.1 on sysnand with no worries. I did it on first try on a 2ds without otp helper when the exploit was first released

I just noticed that I put arm9.bin and arm11.bin after the backup of sysnand and emunand (in the guide Plailect put them in the step 3 - Section I - Part 4), I don't think this is relevant but better ask, is that relevant?

PLEASE ANSWER MY QUICK QUESTION- i followed the plailect guide upto https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Part-3-(RedNAND) step 17.
now step 18 says that activate enable rednand whereas the option in mine says enable emunand. what do i do? i downloaded cakes_138.zip. thanks!

In the patches list you need to enable the two patches in the guide (there will be a cross on it). If you are worried about the term "Rednand" do not panic, plailect just updated the guide yesterday but the steps are the same, just replace the term "rednand" with "emunand".

Anyway, I'm restoring now 2.1.0 on Sysnand...

hey man could you tell me how you did https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Part-4-(Getting-the-OTP) steps 13-15 ? the go.bat always says that hs.app not found even when it is inside the input folder??

It happened to me too. Move the entire folder in C: and try to run the go.bat there!

sorry to trouble u again but now this stupid thing ( decrypt9 ) is saying that h&s app is too big and the inject failed!

You can try rerunning go.bat and move it again to the SD CARD.
