Well this week i was thinking of buying a Cyclo DS but the problem is I cant find a place where they teach me how to get started once i have it.

All i need is just a simple tutorial on how i could get started. ex. where to placing homebrew getting moonshell blah blah blah

And do i still need to make a file on the root menu once i have it?

And what kind of MicroSD card should i get?

thanks!

Place ROMs directly on to MicroSD, no need to create any folders. Place moonshl folder directly on to MicroSD. Place images and music directly onto MicroSD.

The best MicroSD to get is a Kingston 2GB Japanese card.

There is no U.S. Kingston, it's either Japanese or Taiwanese. The Japanese card is faster but more expensive. If a site doesn't specify which one it is, it's most likely gonna be a Taiwanese card.

And to update the firmware you have to.....

wait for it.....

Place the firmware file directly on to the MicroSD. It's really that simple.
