So I have my custom IOS set up and USB Loader GX is working fine. I have tried multiple flash drives formatted to WBFS and everything is hunky-dory. However, when I plug in one specific external hard drive (it's pretty old), I get a cIOS error. I am not home right now (so I can't be sure), but I believe it is an error for IOS 236. Perhaps it has something to do with the drive firmware. If not, what could be the cause of this issue?
