Homebrew Getting blargsnes working?

I have my primary 3DS running ARN/Luma3DS and a9lh. I installed the 1.3 version of blargsnes on both the hbl and as a .cia to the home menu. Whenever I load blargsnes, it jumps to the 3DS splash screen and then hangs on a black screen. What am I missing here?

It's an o3DS XL.

Should I upgrade ARN/Luma? (I still haven't done that...)

What about trying RetroArch, i like it better than blargsnes. But if you have an Old3DS i don't know how well PocketSNES from Retroarch will work,
but i think it's a pretty good experience on New3DS, also you have a Realtime save feature and other little tweakings.

As for your question, i don't know what's wrong with blargsnes, sorry :x

Blargsnes works fine on my side.

Try using a more recently compiled build. If you already are, you may need a DSP Dump for it to work properly. There are many homebrew launcher apps which can easily create one for you.
