Hardware getting a v3 wiiclip need to know some things

Well i ordered the v3 wiiclip with wii key already soldered

is ok if my wii is 3.3 u firmware

if i install this can my wife still use the everybody votes channel

are games playable online

and i understand this correct i should be able to play gamecube backups also
do the gamecube backups need to be the same region or does it matter

any links to helpful sites/forums would be good also

How old is your Wii? You are aware, that the Wiikey only works in old Wiis, right? (beside the fact that it is a pretty bad modchip..)
