uh, Dillon's Rolling Western was released at the same time as this demo. 3DSWare can only be released as fast as they're made, so I don't understand why you think they're trying to (or need to) justify the fact that not enough devs are making 3DSWare by releasing demos on a weekly basis. The two things seem completely unrelated to me. I'd like to see more 3DSWare but, clearly, not enough developers are making it.

Back on topic, I never had the slightest interest in Nintendogs (or + Cats). I've downloaded the demo just for the sake of it, maybe my daughters will play it I'm not sure why they need to have a play count at all, I don't think anyone's going to get much satisfaction from playing an immensely cut-down game. I've played the Crush 3D demo, Metal Gear demo and Resi demo once each and that was plenty enough. I say do away with the play counts and let people's natural attention span be the limit. At least then you don't look like an ass for putting ridiculous restrictions on things.

The 3DS is the first console where things actually seem fairer to Europeans for a change. History will show you countless games that never made it to our shores or came months, sometimes over a year, after the Americas got them. We shouldn't fight each other, the Japanese are the ones that always win

Besides, I'm sure you'll get the demo sooner or later. Then you'll be able to say, "Meh, who gives a flying fuck about Nintenpets anyway?", too.
