Hi guys. I'm new here and my english is too bad. I need to know how i do to see the covers in this project? What size and type of covers? Which directory i put the pictures?
Thanks in advance

When playing a game press home.
On the right side is a button called snap. Click it to make your cover.
The covers can be made inside the emu!

Say what!?! I didn't know you could make a cover IN-GAME. amazing. I shall make title screens as the cover

it only makes a cover for the cart though

is that so. I have the complete set of genesis games on my SD card. Too bad there wasn't a pack someone could make of all the cart covers or box art then. rats...

You can find full set in-game screenshot on internet, just look for no-intro screenshot archive. But honestly, doing this manually from the menu when you actually play one game is incredibly easy and fast, I don't really see the point of having a full romset covered if you aren't playing the games...

I'm at work so can't test for 8 hours but do you know if the images from the 'no-intro screenshot archive site' are the correct size already for gen plus gx on the wii? ....or would they have to be re-sized etc to fit and work with the emu?

here's the link: http://no-intro.dlgsoftware.net/main.php?lang=1

I used these packx for a PC emulator frontend and I remember some genesis games were using 256x224 images, other 320x224, I guess it depends on the game resolution.
Based on some screenshots I made myself with genplus interface , it seems to always use a fixed image dimension (320x224), even for those games that use a different resolution, so I guess you would need to resize some images.

Also, the image name is based on the ROM CRC while genplus use the ROM filename so obviously, it's not so easy to use this pack with the emulator.... unless you modify genplus to use the CRC instead (this would have been more logical btw if it did that in the first place)

As allways thanks for the information.

From using those packs that sounded great at first as I could live with the images being slightly smaller for the emu... but I haven't a clue how to edit the genplus source so that the rom file names would work with the emu and I guess manually renaming all those files would take forever (it would be just as quick for me take pics from within the emu).

It is exactly the same as r502 (already uploaded by FIX94) According to the changelog on googlecode, there haven't been any code changes lately, only changes to the online Wiki...
