I used these packx for a PC emulator frontend and I remember some genesis games were using 256x224 images, other 320x224, I guess it depends on the game resolution.
Based on some screenshots I made myself with genplus interface , it seems to always use a fixed image dimension (320x224), even for those games that use a different resolution, so I guess you would need to resize some images.
Also, the image name is based on the ROM CRC while genplus use the ROM filename so obviously, it's not so easy to use this pack with the emulator.... unless you modify genplus to use the CRC instead (this would have been more logical btw if it did that in the first place)
