@WiiPower: I noticed the asterisks from the games that use alternate dol loading have been removed from the first post. Is there any chance they could be restored? They were a great source for letting people know which games they should try to use alternate dol loading with. I understand if you don't want to bother with them, though.

hi there, trying to load boom blox bash party from neo gamma r7. before anything comes up at all, the screen freezes black and my controller disconnects. i didn't see anything in this thread on it so it may just be a crappy back-up but i just wanted to check first.

and on a side note, is there a search feature to search specific threads on this forum? i know there is a general search to see what threads come up, but one to direct me to a specific post?

Experiencing the same here. Tried quite some different settings, tried alt. dol but the strange part is that i played it before with neogamma r7 and i didn't change anything on the wii between it did work and didn't work.

Get to know what the change(s) from rev13a to 13b and try to understand what effect it has.

I was wondering if anyone had any idea of how to get CSI: Deadly Intent to work without installing Cioscorp or a mod chip. I have tried everything. I have system menu 4.0 and using cIOS 14 and I have tried neogamma r7 and r8 with a backup disc and usb. I have also tried usb loader gx. I also tried patching the game iso to 249 and burned the backup and tried it on Neogamma. The game will load fine then you click on the first mission and the wii just resets. Anyone have any ideas? Any thoughts Wiipower?

From what i read the game is most likely an IOS Reloading game. There's a small chance it requries something that is only in IOS53.

Let's find it out. Get cIOS53 from cioscorp, install it and try the game from NeoGamma and/or SoftChip. If it still does not work, try SoftChip with IOS53 selected.

Also, do not enable the Remove 002 patch in SoftChip, enable Fake IOS Version.

PS: I'm talking about an unpatched disc, a patched disc might not work at all

I have also read reports that Ben 10: Alien Force - Vilgax Attacks is also not running from softmodded wiis - either through disc or through USB. I'm downloading a 1:1 copy now to test this using neogamma (both disc and usb) and we'll see how this goes.

I do not know whether this game works on chipped wiis (either disc or USB). Can anyone confirm?

Thanks alot wii power. I installed IOS53 from cioscorp. Ran an unpatched disc under neogamma seems to run without a problem.

Is there any wiiscrubber characteristic when analyzing the iso that will tip one off to whether or not a game is an IOS reloader?

I know that the error 002 and 001 games can be found by extracting out main.dol from partion 2 and looking for in in wiipatcher.

This depends on the used loader. NeoGamma wants them in the NeoGamma folder.
