Hacking [GC] Geist backup

can somebody tell me if there was ever a fix for this game to work with the cmios? as i never got that game to work... it always kept on crashing on loading... i hope htere is a fix as i really loved that game...

Geist is a fully working game. I've played through the entire thing on a backup. You may have a bad burn/backup. Did you shrink it? If so, try it unshrunk.

Hey little Daco (lol, jks), I haven't tried this game, but I read some people tried installing the new mios (downloadable via NUSD). I read that some1 tried installing the wad directly, and some1 else renamed the latest version (v10) to version8 (replacing the real version8), then used mios patcher to install to install "version 8". Unfortunately I don't know which 1 works, if either of them, but you never know. Best of luck.

as for unshrinking. i indeed shrinked the whole game to fit on disc with some other games... so i guess that might be the problem then...

Works fine with any of the cMIOS versions included in the MIOS Patcher without any special monkeying with MIOS downloads and renaming and so on...
