I love how they totally avoided the used game and always on issues. The closest they came was to mention the Forza Drive-atars (bots) needing the "cloud".

The $499 price point hurts, especially because you have to throw a game on top of that (no rentals / borrowing) and likely have to pay for gold.

I'll save my money and buy a $499 graphics card or processor.

I'll be watching this tomorrow at work (yay for online streams!) and hopefully will be able to see the Sony one too. Nintendo and future of FF will be in the evening for me (5pm and 7pm). Happy E3 everyone!

Wait... You NEED "Smart Glass"?

Figures the games I'm more interested in, really had no gameplay.

Either way, I'm still pushed away from it.

Really great game showings honestly, Spark looked really good (probably my personal favorite of the show). Nothing that that looked REALLY bad though, maybe Forza but that's not bad, just not my cup of tea. But I'd be willing to play every game showed.

Price was still shit though, $500 is blehhhhh. I was guessing they might do a damn cheap price but require Xbox Live subscription. Like they did that with the current Xbox 360's in a weird bundle type thing.

So yeah I enjoyed the conference.

However total cockblock, everyone I was chatting with thought the Halo trailer was Destiny.

what a bad confrence, there was not a single 3d platformers, just fps fps and fps
Don't forget Microsoft's amazing indie support! Spark and Minecraft! Also, there was Forza, Witcher, Ryse and Killer Instinct.

The only fps gameplay they showed was Battlefield 4, and they almost screwed that up. 3rd person shooters were Crimson Dragon and Dead Rising 3. COD wasn't there, I think EA bought Microsoft out on that one. Not sure how to classify Metal Gear V.

Well... I didn't expect much out of the Microsoft conference, but this was way beyond my lowest expectations. I really should learn to expect nothing at all from Microsoft from now on, cause then they will deliver... by a tiny bit.

Let's see:
X360 redesign: Don't car, plus, it looks uglier than the previous redesign.
Assassin's Creed 2 and Halo 3 free for XLive gold... Nice, you saw the PS+ is working and you copied it... and you give old games that nearly everyone played.
World of Tanks: Don't care about online shooter... or most MMORPGs
Max The curse of Brotherhood: Don't remember it, so, it must have been really boring.
Dark Souls 2: DARK SOULS 2, but I'll get it on PC.
Ryse: Too much Quick-time events, but it looked nice. Yet boring.
Killer Instinct 3: Don't like fighting games unless it's SSB.
Sunset Overdrive: Nice trailer, but, without gameplay, I won't say a thing. And, if that was gameplay, too chaotic, too many camera changes.
Forza 5: So, the Drive-atars are driving like people. Sweet, that means only hardcore racing gamers can enjoy it, casuals will be lapped in a 3 lap race. Great job :irony:
Minecraft: Uh... Uh... What am I supposed to say? I played (and still play) this game for years, how will the X1 version be any different?
Quantum Break: Looked interesting.
D4: Didn't get too much.
Project Spark: Interesting concept that probably won't catch; too much freedom. Like, seriously, way too much freedom. How can you enjoy a game when you can pawn all the enemies with a huge mech from the very start?
Panzer Dragoon: Crimson Dragon? If yes, they screwed up with the lack of sound. Trailer reminded me of Kid Icarus Uprising. With Dragons.
Dead Rising 3: Uh... interesting. Didn't play the previous games, so not sure if too much freedom and overload of zombies and weapons, but looked nice.
Witcher 3: Open world caught me. I didn't play the other 2 because of the lack of open world, but I might try this one... on PC.
Battlefield 4: So, regular shooter, nothing to see here.
Second Assault DLC: Oh, wow, DLC, How much I love thee...
Below: Below Next gen, maybe? The character was so small, It instantly made me thing i need a 4k tv to see him well. So, probably won't be able to play it properly on my tube.
Halo Assault: Nice trailer.
Titan Fall: Mass Effect 3 much? No, seriously, it reminded me of the mission where you meet Jack in ME3. Also, regular shooter with Mechs, nothing interesting.
Price: Well, at least it's not five-hundred-and-ninnety-nine-uh-es-dollars. But it's kinda high.

Interested in:
Sunset Overdrive (Want to see actual gameplay)
Quantum Break (Curious to see how will it play too)
Crimson Dragon (Looks interesting and different)
Witcher 3 (I'm really impressed by this one, Open World!)

And what was that about Halo?
It didn't have a 5 or any sub title.
Still, pre-rendered bull.

Overall, awful presentation.
Some games look interesting, but nothing that makes me go
"Hell yeah, XBOX ONE!". Between this, the price ($499, daamn),
DRM, Kinect must be connected to work, online at least a day...
I guess I won't buy the Xbone.
