GBA SP goes orange!

In order to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Pokémon series, Nintendo will distribute a special edition of the Game Boy Advance SP with a new color : metalized orange. On the back part of the screen will be reproduced one of the characters of the Pokémon series. This version of GBA SP will be sold only through the Japanese Pokémon Centers from April 11th or the respective online stores. Like the other limited versions, it is improbable that the same coloration is extended in future to the western stores too.

Hrmmm, somehow I don't see this coming to the USA. Well, there are orange controllers for the GC, but Nintendo would be pushing it releasing something like that here. I'm already po'ed there's no black GBA here...

Xero: I just have the standard indigo one, but a friend got ahold of some Warhammer paints and MADE his black... you scarcely notice if you're good. He dismanteld it before he painted it, thankfully...

Tempest: Yeah, I'm very tempted to paint mine as well. Jet black w/ red racing stripe, lol. For now tho, the colbalt/indigo/whatever is fine. The color doesn't bother me much since most of the time I'm actually playing in a dim area. Hey, at least it's not those fruity GBC colors...oh man, I hated having to get a purple one just cause it was the darkest!

uhh, I don´t like to put those badges on my sp...as time passes by, they hang loose at the edges and then they get dirty and everything looks messed up...especially when you try to pull them down, half of the badge rests on your sp...
to the orange sp:
Well, this is all a matter of taste, but somehow I get the feeling that japanese people like this colour...as I can speak for my german conservative ego...this does look like directly comming out of the newborns´toys corner, doesn´t it?

they are made to be taken off and on. Its not like a sticker that would leave sticky stuff on when you take them off. It acouple of buck and I put them on when ever I feel like having a new look.

I think it will be possible to obtain one in france, despite i'm not interested each time the japanese do things like that we see it in france in import stores.

In theory it's impossible to find the 10th aniversary pack of sonic 2 for dreamcast and lots of stores still have it now.

A little off the suject... I'm suprise they (n!ntend@) didn't make SP in one of those see thru color case thing.
