I was able to import an old save for a gba game I wanted to continue, but it is really frustrating I am just trying to use the normal in game save function not the real time save and sometimes it saves, and sometimes it doesn't. Is this just a bug I have to wait to be fixed or am I maybe doing something wrong?

ah I think that makes sense now because it seemed like it was saving in game after I saved in real time, probably because I was accessing the eos that way if that makes any sense.

My guess is that to keep the game running smoothly they hold the GBA SAV in memory and then when you exit the emulator or load up a different game it dumps the SAV to the mSD. Otherwise it would lag the game a little bit to access the mSD each time to save.

How this cart saves is just so bizarre.
I have been able to get it to save properly now on the DS but I tried transferring my save off of the ds to paly on my pc and none of my recent gameplay has been remember in the sav file. Very strange.
