    I want to buy Android 2.2 tablet with Via 8650 800Mhz 256 MB ddr2 I want to learn if it runs gba roms smoothly.

    Yes it will. I had a tablet similar to that in specs and it ran it just fine.

    If I remember correctly the emulator was removed from by google from the android marketplace at the request of nintendo. the only way your going to find it is the same way you get a rom, some website or irc channel offering a download of it.

    Gameboid was removed, but last I checked there were still other GBA emulators on the market. Still up on most other market sites, and if it's a cheap Chinese tablet it probably won't have the standard Android Market app installed anyways.

    Gameboid is incredibly easy to find.
    You wouldn't lose much to just download it and try to see if GBA games run well.

    it was free for a while, but i don't think it's free anymore

    You can find it certain places for free, though. I think SlideMe still has the free version, as well, I think. If not, shoot me a PM.

    I have probably the most low-end android in the market and I get GBA games running really smoothly, I just got a random emulator off the internet browser and I got some ROM packs, and now I have Fire Red everywhere with me :D
