Hacking GBA emulation: DSTwo's TempGBA VS GBARunner2

A single question that maybe have been answered in the past in this forum...
What is the best option to emulate GBA games using a slot1 card if we have to choose between TempGBA in a DSTWO, or GBARunner2 in a R4 card clone? Ignore save states and other features, we're only talking about stability and compatibility.
My experience says that GBARunner2 works great, and I have tried it in a R4 original, R4i clone, R4 3DS clone and an iTouchDS...

I have never tried GBARunner2 with my R4 because I use an EZ Flash 3in1 expansion pack with GBA ExpLoader so I cannot really give an objective opinion but on my DSTwo + I use TempGBA, I tested 328 roms (official games and homebrews), I've never had any problems, it's pretty stable.

I saw several videos of GBARunner2, it seems that there is still work to do but the results seem quite impressive, which is good is that a program whose author is still working on it and therefore constantly evolving , in summary GBARunner2 is very promising.

Does your Solution supports Cheats ?
If yes,then it is still the greatest and maybe only Benefit over GBARunner.
That is the only real missing Feature.

I do not use the cheats but by searching a little bit on the net, there is no possibility of using the cheats with GBAExpLoader, on the other hand with TempGBA there is an option to use the cheats but I think that it seems do not work and it causes crashes.

Otherwise from what I could understand (only GBARunner users will be able to confirm it to me) I think you have to patch the roms before you can play them and from what I could see on the videos from GBARunner that I saw on youtube (a few months ago already so maybe since some problems have been fixed), there were some problems with audio and video glitches.

These are problems that I did not have with TempGBA and GBAExploader but this is explained because in the end, whether it is one or the other, these two solutions involve an hardware softmod (additional RAM with the expansion pack or the additional chip of the DSTWO).

In fact, the only benefits that I find in these two solutions are the games launched without glitches problems and the fact of not having to patch them.

Then, keep in mind that my point of view is really subjective since I have never tried GBARunner, maybe if I try it, I will be pleasantly surprised, I think I will do it without doubt one day.

GBARunner makes a really great Improvement,the UI is now really "handy" and a lot of Games are running perfect actual.
Patching is no longer needed,except for Cheats but this Feature is not really great working....

So,if you have a Flashcard,simply download it and put it somewhere on it.The arm9 Version is maybe "better" for Flashcards.
And please Note,you need a GBA Bios File.

Yep !

The best way to play arcade with a DS Lite (I'm only talking about ds lite because it's the only kind of ds I use) is definitely the DSTWO, you can play MAME with MAME4ALL, FBA (and the fullset of CPS1 with a good speed) with FBA4DSTWO and DSTWO Linux Beta 1.0 (Dingux) to use the dingoo version of FBA which allows to play the fullset of CPS2 (it's not perfect because it slows down a bit but it's still very playable)
