Hardware GBA + DSL Which carts or combos

So im Modding my DSL from scratch
i want to be able to play DS games As well as GBA games on my DSL

I was looking at M3 ds Real and Edge

But what should i use for my Slot 2

So far the most common are
m3 expansion
and G6 lite

but im confused on what the most up to date is because there are alot of older products and reviews

Does any vendor even carry the G6 Lite anymore?

There's either the EZFlashV 3-in-1 or the GBA Expansion Pack.

You should get a CycloDS instead of an EDGE.

If you decide to go with the M3 Real instead, get the GBA Expansion Pack.

whats the difference in playability??

How Do GBA games get loaded? Such as on the 3in1 or the expansion Bay

I have the CycloDS and EZ' 3-in-1, cant fault it.

Except I cant get Aria of Sorrow to save, but that's a common problem.

Same for me. Cyclo DS Evolution with an EZ Flash V 3 in 1 Expansion. For ease of use if nothing else. No worrying about patching unless I need to change languages or hack the game in some way since the EVO takes care of all the DLDI patching and stuff automatically, so it's easy for someone like me to use. IE: someone who has no idea how anything more advanced than google and minesweeper work on his laptop. It does everything I want it to. I even taught moonshell to 'talk' to wind up the kid over the road who thinks his DS is the best. Truth be told I just replaced the startup and shutdown sound files with voice samples, but as far as he can tell my DS talks. Look on his face: Priceless.

The Cyclo might be a little pricey in comparison to other cards, but you get quality support for it. Plus I've never heard of a cloned Cyclo card. The only gripe I have with the Cyclo is that not many people are making themes for it at the moment. There are still plenty about, but it seems a little undersupported compared to the R4 in terms of themes. Hardly a major issue though.

Hows the saving issues with the Cyclo/EZ FLash V 3 in 1?

What are some of the major games that have problems? Also I heard that Mother 3 was touch n go save wise... I have a Cyclo, but want to play some GBA games again. The only thing that is keeping me from it is the suposed save issues I randomly see people have. Oh, and one last question, probably a dumb one, but when it saves, it saves to the Cyclo's SD card and not the EZ Flash correct?

got a Cyclo and just got my EZ 3 in 1 (both from RHS) love it. I just need to find the app that allows you to use the GBA cheats and I'm set

The GBATemp Download center would be a good place to start. Otherwise, check the sidebar of the GBA section of DCEmu, as they've got a lot of old apps organized and cataloged.
