I have GBA Backup Tool Version 0.21 on my CycloDS.

I am trying to replace the save file on my Pokemon Fire Red game with a rom. I first made a backup of the save file on the cartridge. I put my SD Card into my PC and replaced it with the .sav file from my rom and I made sure to keep the same name. I used the save restore tool on the gba backup tool. However, whenever I play my cartridge, it says your file has been deleted and it just starts a new game. Is there something I am doing wrong??

Having a similar problem, myself. I backed up my save file, and used it with an emulator, and then replaced it in the cartridge, and the new save was corrupted, and the game loaded my previous save. I think emulators have some some sort of problem making save files that can be recognized by actual systems. Dunno if there's a solution to that, though. I'm asking around about it, myself.
