Why did gateway stopped working on there product? Why aren't they releasing any new updates? It has been 8months since there last message. :l

Nobody can say, as nobody here works for Gateway (that we know). All you'll get is speculation, people saying how much Gateway is irrelevant (inc how Luma is what should be used nowadays), and general bashing of em. It really isn't worth the hassle of making a Gateway post lol.

The website for that card was also found to be registered by the same person who registered the gateway website. It also had the registered email listed as the gateway3ds support email. So all speculation is that they've moved onto a new sky3ds type card.

I've had my gateway since day 1 when you could only have 1 rom per microSD card. I always hope for true cfw releases even when I buy into stuff like physical carts, but it just kinda sucks that I can't really use it anymore (last used for cheat menu, card doesn't work on latest nand though) for anything. I mean first game I bought was Cubic ninja back before this all started so even if I moved to a new system my gw card would still be useless, also wouldn't dare try to install a9lh using gw card.

It could be that this new card and gateway will have the same software updates, only one card being a sky3ds clone instead of a rom loader card (as in not a 1:1 copy) since they did say older gateway cards (like mine) would still be supported with future updates and not get locked out like the case with the R4 time bombs.

But who knows, anything could happen at this point, or like usual nothing could happen. It's been so long that even the meme has ran dry, no more trademarks...

You can still use your GW card. You just have to format an EmuNAND (if you don't already have one) and downgrade it to 11.2. Just use use the latest 3DNUS to grab 11.2 (make sure you type in "11.2.0-35E" for the EUR version -- I'm guessing that's the one you would need based on the flag below your avatar), and use SysUpdater to downgrade. Gateway itself runs just fine from B9S. You can try to set it up the hard way, or if you can find my InScripted AIO on a certain iso site (CFW Discussion section), just copy the included B9S configuration that matches your hardware over and Gateway will be on the "B" hotkey. Though you might want to wait for R6. I'm just finishing up typing the update info and then I'll be uploading it.

Gateway died when they failed to implement firm protection when they released "fast boot." Being 3 firmwares behind and parterning to launch Stargate isn't helping their brand recognition at all.

They were exposed in two different ways.
One at the first announcement, their sales team was registered to the Gateway sales team.
The second time, the "Stargate Team" emailed users on the Gateway email list.
It seems the Gateway team has dropped support for the Gateway3DS for Stargate

What? It's already "properly hidden". If it wasn't, DSTWO+ wouldn't cause a brick with newer than GW 3.7.1...

I did... When did this happen? And why hasn't there been any modified GW launchers (specifically, an upgraded GW launcher for DSTWO+)?
No... I think there is still much of that puzzle missing. Still, finding it and being able to change or bypass it aren't the same thing. Disappointment all over again. Thanks GW
