yeah it will work fine its more than likely just a bug in their newest launcher.dat, rxtools is developed separately from gateways stuff now, so only if/when they try take something from GW would they risk introducing any of GW's bugs to their CFW....i think they have everything they would really want from GW at this point though, unless gateway crack 9.3+ support at some point

Bug #1 I've the same issue (3.5 + 10.2.0-28U) with my FBI .cia; hitting "Select" then cancelling out of it is not enough, you have to load a .3ds before starting the .cia, then it works. That should be enough information for the GW team to fix it.

Bug #2 with classic mode and retail carts not working I can confirm as well.

The other thing to be added to the wishlist (>9.2 sysnand, >9.5 EmuNAND n3DS, GBA_FIRM, TWL_FIRM) would be to find a way to somehow make scene eShop releases (i.e. converted to .3ds) work without needing to visit the eShop (e.g. adding a .sdb file for each title that GW will use to perform the needed decryption before starting the game).

yeah i do too, its nice to have around still, but tbh i have been using minipasta mostly on my n3DS(ps im aware of reinand, but i just want pasta...my choice )....just because menuhax is so damn convenient, i wish gateway would just adapt to the times

I don't think that RX tools is using the newest GW launcher.

I'm not sure if RX will port over whatever is allowing the newest thing that allows emunand to work; you'll have to check RX side.

I don't think it is a bug; I think it was done on purpose, as a prevention measure of sorts.

It's to prevent "their work from being ripped off"; to force people to MUST have a red cart, else you can't use their code to get .cia support.

(I mean, they did block .cia installations at the first place, until Giovanify leaked devmenu and other people went gaga over free CFW support)

Hopefully gateway team fixes this issue soon. Seems like you could use the newest launcher but not update to 10.3.

As they stated. It's a BETA release. Not the official release. So, I don't really expect it to work well. I'm sticking with 3.4.1 until they get this all fixed. Also not a whole lot of cheats yet. I'll wait until people make more or until they update their code arsenal.

I'm with you, nothing wrong with implementing someone to make the product work. I've seen more "how do I get cfw to work" than "I can't get my gw working". I feel that they do have someone prioritizing different parts of there product, 1 person for o3ds, another for n3ds, another future proofing features. Delegating out helps kind of move things along and everybody can help each other out. Who knows....

I barely updated my O3DS in a long time. I got Gateway 3.5 and updated EmuNAND to 10.3. I bypassed the CIA problem by selecting a random ROM in the multimenu, but when I close the CIA, I get kicked back into SysNAND just like I would as if I was getting out of the settings. Does this happen to anyone else?

Why all the hate for Gateway? I mean I'm completely let down by 3.5 too, but they're still the ones who we have to thank for starting everything right? And the fact that they're still working on it (with shitty updates or not) is something to consider in my opinion.
Also on a side note I'd want to protect my work too if somebody just slammed it in another flashcard with a few new features and started reselling it as their own.

I paid up to $100 for both the cards with no MSD card. I honestly am with you but that's a lot of money to say " It's okay, take your time. " I am upset they won't test this stuff before release or at least tell us there is a protection set for fake card users. Also to say that they barely ever give their customers updates on if they are still there. They just say " Soon " and leave us to speculate on weather they ran away with our money or not.

It doesn't happen to one of my N3DS', but that one has 3.4.1 with 9.5 EmuNAND on it. It happens consistently on my O3DS, unfortunately. I was just wondering if it was happening to anyone else and if it happened to them on either the O3DS or N3DS as well. Kinda sucks, but I hope they release a fix soon.

If you guys read a little bit of the thread, I tested it on 2DS. No, it didn't brick it. It's safe. It's got anti GW emulation plugin protection. If you want to use your silly DS2+, use it on another custom firmware. Because I tested it with my friend's DS2+ with my 2DS. Congrats to me, I'm an idiot! Because it bricked my 2DS.

So far, GW 3.5 works on my N3DS on FW 9.0.0-20 (Both SysNAND and EmuNAND).
