There is no v2, the Gateway cartridge itself has never seen a hardware revision.

I honestly did not expect gateway to ever add arm9loader-hax support, Just due to the user unfriendly OTP dumping process...

But it's quite a pleasant surprise to see the team adding support for the quicker launching methods (menuhax & arm9loader-hax)

I don't think there's someone buying a gateway nowadays, there are only users that bought a gateway time ago that want to enjoy it as they paid money for it

A9lh is a way to launch any payload on boot. Using A9LH+Gateway allows you to boot Gateway on boot like menuhax but better

Then again, there's still the .cci/.3ds drag and drop compatibility which nothing else has...
And their cheat system is pretty nice..
